1. I am thankful for the Christmas holiday season so far.
2. I went on a date night with hubby to go Christmas shopping and then we had dinner together at a nice restuarant.
3. We had a great family time early this week, decorating the Christmas tree. I enjoyed my little granddaughter’s decorating style.
4. She squealed everytime she took an ornament out. “How pretty. Ohh, look MeMe this one is your favorite one.”
5. My mom made my pretty tree skirt for my Christmas present last year. I was so excited to find it and get to use it for the first time. It is too pretty to put Christmas presents on.
6. I won another giveaway contest! This time sponsored by Ramona at Create with Joy. I won an autographed copy of this book
And a $25 Amazon Gift Card! Speaking of winning giveaways, I also won a spot in this great New Years Bash Giveaway. Please hop over and participate. You could win $250. Link up here:

7. I had so much fun reading other people’s TToT posts tonight. I made it to at least four of them so far, and after I finish this post, I plan on reading more.
8. You have to check out Thankful Me’s post at : http://www.thankfulme.net/2013/12/ten-things-of-thankful-baby-its-cold.html. Be sure to check out the funny videos.
9. I am thankful I have my beautiful daughter sitting next to me. If you stopped by earlier today, you’d have seen my post on the Sandy Hook tragedy. The mass shooting was a year ago. I am so thankful for my daughter. I can only imagine what it must be like for those poor parents. They have turned their tragedy into a wonderful memorial, however, of beautiful lives. Check out the special link to the page by clicking on the memorial heart below.

I love your thankful list 🙂
How did you do the snow and lights with your pictures? Those are super cute!!
I wish you and your family the merriest of holidays!!
XOXO
Thanks for linking up to Mommy Monday!
I love the snow special effect that you have on the second photo! So cool! I, too, and thankful for family. It’s awesome that your mom made that nice Christmas skirt for you. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Looking forward to linking up in 2014 with you all. 🙂
That’s quite nifty how you made those photos blink and snow!
Handmade gifts are the best. I really like the tree skirt one from your mom.
I’m going to miss the hop for the next two weeks, too. I so enjoy going around reading about the things making people happy each week.
Crank up the Christmas music and have a lovely Christmas!
very nice tree! and congrats on the win!
(lol I thought I read, ‘I’m going to start writing now for..’ and my brain leaped ahead and I thought, ‘what a great idea!! I can use the next two weeks to pre-write some TToT Posts so I won’t be so late with mine in 2014’ and then I read what you actually wrote.)
oh well, guess I have to stay with the ‘omg it’s Sunday morning and I have nothing written!’
Ahhhhh come on back in 2014 when we kick everything off again 😀 Congrats on your awesome win.
I’m glad you’re holding your daughter close and treasuring her, as you remind us all about those affected by the Sandy Hook shooting.
wow what a great tree! You are the queen of the winners circle! Terrific…congrats! Also I wrote you a fruitcake note on my response on my blog ….let me know if that recipe sounds anything even close to what youre looking for and Id be happy to share it with you!
Love your tree! Thanks for sharing such heartfelt memories.
I love the snow and twinkly lights in your photos–quite the nice touch at Christmastime! Your granddaughter’s insistence that each ornament was your favorite was really cute. I agree with you about Christmas music; I just love the sounds of the season. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my post made your list. Thanks!
