31 Days of Free Writes Day 3: No Problem To Big For God

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

 

It seems life moves from one problem to the next, one trauma to another, one conflict to the next, or one trial to the next. We live in problem mold in our lives.

I felt this way recently when another chaotic situation filled my life, and I saw no solution in sight.  I whined, “Why can’t I live a normal life without all the chaos? I move from problem to problem or one crisis to another crisis. I never find a time of peace.”

Can you relate? Maybe I exaggerated my situation at the moment, but it seemed like I faced another impossible crisis out of which I saw no escape.  You know, though, the crisis faded after a few days. I stopped thinking about the issue. It is nothing I did purposely, and I transitioned into the downtime without thought. The worry and the chaos faded.  The problem stays, and the situation remains, but I did not discover peace but got used to the crisis in my life. I can’t claim victory over the problem. I just accepted it.

I can’t claim some spiritual awakening either. I quoted the above scriptures, but I am not fully living them in this situation yet. I cling to the scriptures until they become real in my life. I pray them over my problem and crisis. I believe in the delivering power of Christ.

When you are in crisis, sometimes, all you can do is cling to His word and wait for Him to deliver you out of your problem, knowing He is faithful. He will not forsake you or me in the middle of any tribulation we…
