“So you got set up?”
“You’re right on the money, Doc.”
….”She’s stirring up trouble to see what she can find and blaming me for it.” I shrugged. “As long as I take the fall, she can stir up whatever she likes.”
Limit Outbound Links
It’s helpful to have outbound links on your website, because it tells the search engines that you are involved in the community of the Web. However, don’t get carried away with adding links, because too many links makes a website look like spam to the search engines, so they won’t rank your website as high in the search results. The outbound links you choose to use should be reputable websites, because it makes your website look reputable.
Working a Lot
If you wish to succeed as a freelance writer, in the first year you will work all day and all week. You will feel like you are tied to the computer. There will be so much work to do and not enough time to do it. You will be multitasking projects like crazy. It will be very hard to tie up all the loose ends in one day. You will have projects that take more than one day, such as book review assignments, which take several days or weeks.
I am planning to finish this book this week; so stay tuned, for an in-depth review. 🙂
Finally, a teaser from another book by Christina Rice. I have been reading this book for a few weeks. This book is on my Kindle; so, I have to use location numbers instead of page numbers.
“Or into my lap, when I’m using the computer:
In his own way, he is saying, “I’m the one who needs your attention.”
Here is a picture of my bookstack for the week:

Hope you are feeling better after your surgery. It’s hard when someone has the free time to read, but cannot do so due to not feeling well. Reading is the best tonic for aches and pains, so hope you are partaking. 🙂 Enjoy your week.
Rita, I have been bouncing back slowly, I am doing better surgery wise, but had a small setback. Hopefully next week, I can bounce back even more with my posts. 😉
Hi Mary, I hope you are feeling better! =) I agree with Rita – I hope you have time to relax and read a good book on your list!
Mary, Thank you so much for following my blog today! I returned the favor and am now following yours! 🙂 I love your cover photo! I like your Tuesday Teaser challenge, too, and since I already used my Tuesday blog post up with Slice of Life, I’ll put it here! 1st sentence: “Since I had come to this town, the green smoke (which was, in fact, greenish gray) had appeared every four or five months or so, infrequently enough to make it seem special.” And “There was something else that Jeremy had heard about the Prince Cakes from his mother, and as they walked toward the bakery, he said, ‘Have you ever heard of a kind of enchantment that can go with the cake?'” from FAR, FAR AWAY by Tom McNeal
Sounds wonderful. Cake is often enchanting.
Thanks, Mary. And…thanks for coming by my blog.
Have a great day! It is a gorgeous all day here.
