I am taking part in the Flourish Writing Conference trying to find more information on creating a writing life.
I want to spend more time writing, and one day I really want to publish my own book.
I am a published author. I wrote for a newspaper for five years; I edited two anthologies; and published a piece in the Five Minute Friday book two years ago, but I do not have my own book.
So far, I have enjoyed this conference. I have listened to two workshops on micro writing and how to outline my first book in 30 days.
I can’t wait to go through each day and listen to many of the workshops and download all the great books on writing.
What are your goals as a writer? How do you reach others for Christ?
Also, just a reminder that Friday, March 8th is the LAST day to sign up for the FREE online FlourishWriters Conference!
My goals for the coming week:
- Spend up to 30 minutes reviewing the Flourish workshops
- Write daily on my ongoing novel project
- Write two to three blog posts weekly
- Prepare to host my Spring into Writing May Blogging Challenges.
What are your writing goals? Remember to join me Monday for the #LMMLinkup.
This post is written for the Five Minute Friday community where today’s prompt is more. I will also contribute to many of the online link parties listed on my Linkup Parties page which I update regularly be sure to check it out.
I struggle to find time to write my blog and my dream of writing a book is so far away! Thanks forlinking up with #globalblogging

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like you are learning so much and getting inspired.
I always loved to lead women whether it was in a Ladies Bible Study or as a MOPS mentor. But then that season ended for a time and so I decided to broaden my ministry and created my blog almost five years ago to minister to fellow Believers. It is something I can do from home where people from around the world can be ministered to. The Lord can certainly use us right where we are.

Some great goals.
Hi, Mary! I am in the long process of publishing children’s books. And, I too try to write more. I procrastinate and dilly-dally too much! Beautiful goals! Good luck on your journey!!
I have also been enjoying the Flourish Conference and finding it really helpful. I also want to make more time for writing. There is a project I’ve been working on but I really haven’t had much time at all over the last couple of months as work has been extremely busy. I’m hoping things are settling down a bit now and I can get on with it.
Hi Mary,
I am your FMF neighbor 🙂 Thank you for sharing about what “more” means for you right now. I too have been looking for more time to write, carving out bit of time here and there to make it happen. I have also listened to some of the Flourish Conference and I get excited and energized by the speakers. Thank you for encouraging me today!
