Majesty: Wandering to find the Wonders of God

February 5, 2014 By Mary Hill 7 Comments

The sun glitters through the trees
on a cold February day;
As I wander looking for majesty
And beauty that God offers those
Who take the time to seek.

    That was a nice poem! You sometimes have to search harder for God’s warm on those cold winter days.

    We really should be more thankful for our friends and surroundings! That is a beautifully, stirring song. There is so much talent in Christian bands’ songs.

    I smiled when I realized that I was going to comment almost exactly as Zoe did, I had the same response… such wonderful natural beauty, and a message so simply but perfectly told! I know that if each of us took a little time to go for a walk each day, our spirits would be so uplifted! I drive 20 miles into town to work each morning, more than half of that being a rural highway, with gorgeous sunrises to witness, the first fluffy clouds of morning, the quiet of the day still fresh and wonderful. It always puts me in a mind frame of prayer and praise. Thank you for taking us with you on this lovely walk, Mary!
