Looking For Signs of Spring

February 26, 2014 By Mary Hill 12 Comments

Looking out my backdoor, I found beautiful signs that Spring is on the way. Hope you enjoy my pictorial essay as part of Wordless Wednesday.

Zechariah 10:1 ESV

Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.

Song of Solomon 2:12 ESV
The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.

spring blossoms
Spring blossoms are on their way.

Birds are out and about building nests and visiting bird feeders. I have seen cardinals, finches, and robins everywhere.

Linking with numerous Tuesday and Wednesday hops which can be found on my hop directory pages.

Spring is a wonderful time! Birds, rain, new flowers in bloom. Everything starts to turn green! And now, it’s just around the corner.

~Sigh~ spring. Robins have been scoping out my yard for the past two weeks. The trees are still pretty small for nesting, but maybe…..maybe this year.

I’ve seen a couple of birds around, but most of them probably are hiding from the snow still on the ground here.

Now following on Twitter, FB and Pinterest, from the #atozchallenge. I’m a sister minion from another mother (AJ’s Hooligans)!

I can’t wait to see signs of spring here where I love. So far still seeing the white stuff and bitter cold temps.
