February 15, 2015 By Mary Hill 51 Comments

Welcome back to Literacy Musing Mondays, Week 5! Have you had a fun holiday weekend of Presiteen (aka Presidents Day and Valentines)?

What great books have you read this week?  Have you read any interesting magazine articles and written posts about them? This linkup is for everything literacy-related from posts about encouraging reading, the joy of reading, book reviews, literacy games or activities, home school literacy curriculum ideas to discussions about favorite types of books or interesting magazine articles. Just remember to keep it family friendly! I love reading your posts each week!

Mary, your Monday linkup is growing! I always enjoy exploring here.

Just wanted to ask if it would be okay to add my occasional art posts. While not technically about books, I consider them to be communication without words. Sometimes they could even be imaginative starters for a storyline. Anyway, just wanted to ask.

Carole, I think that would be fine. I enjoy reading your art posts. 🙂

I enjoy doing those art posts, so thank you, Mary. I became fascinated with art a couple of years ago when I started searching online for pictures to use in my computer jigsaw game, which is my favorite way to relax. Now it’s an art form that really speaks to me, hence my description that it communicates without words.

This is my first link-up here! I will get my daughter to help me put your link in the link-up roll. I’m not very tech-savvy. Thank you 🙂
