The fan hums in the night as darkness surrounded me. I listen to my dogs’ breath and snore. My house is quiet this evening.
I ponder the word, listen. What will the Lord have me share with this prompt?
To listen one must find silence.
To listen one must open ears to hear His voice calling out in love in the wind.
Listening becomes a deliberate act of worship when we stop and concentrate on His voice.
We develop a listening spirit through prayer, reading His Word, and just waiting on Him.
When we do not pray and listen for Him we lose touch with love and hope.
Take today to read His word, pray, and dwell in silence.
Listen for His whisper. Listen for His voice deep in your soul.
He waits.
He loves.
He speaks.

Listening and attentiveness as worship – how beautiful and reassuring.
Thank you for the encouragement.
