1. I am not alone tonight. My wonderful husband is a sleep next to me.
2. My daughter is in the next room. She comes out and complains, “Mommy turn it down.”
3. Speaking of my husband, he risked life and limb today. Why is my number 4, so keep reading.
4. It was pouring outside and I happened to be looking outside to check on my rabbits when I saw this little one hopping around.

5. Momma, above, surprised us. She had a litter of babies some time a few weeks ago. We had had no idea they were out there. But where were the rest? The rain was coming down, and I had gone out into the cage after retrieving this one and found a hole full of water.
6. My husband came home and went to work looking around the cage and he found another hole that these little ones had crawled into:
7. Despite the mud and grime, he had to move quick. The rain was coming down and they were getting wet and cold.
8. Getting soaked and cold, he dug them out I dried them up and put them in their little house. Then, we went to find some warm hay. We have six baby bunnies who were saved from the rain and cold all because the first little one had hopped out and let us know he and his siblings were underground.9. My husband has been good at making us a “Home.” He is brave, loving, and simply wonderful. He is sick too with a bad cold so getting out there in the rain to save little rabbits from a quickly flooding hole was a real hero’s response.
10. I have a writing gig too. I will let you know all about it when my first official article is published on the company website. 🙂

Oh my I had pet bunnies when I was a young girl and your husband is my new hero for rescuing the babies! I am so happy to hear of their safely and also about your new writing gig – congratulations!!!

So cute and a great thankful list. I remember when we used to have rabbits when we were little on the farm. They are so tiny.
Totally a ton to be thankful for. Those little rabbits are adorable and so happy your husband could help in saving them. And congrats on the writing gig and can’t wait to hear more now!!!
