By Mary Hill,
Who was Jesus? Was He God incarnate?
What does He want for me, for you?
He wants us to live a life of peace and happiness.
Did Jesus really walk this world and work miracles?
He and his followers are mentioned in ancient documents such as letter written by Pliny, the Younger, and the Babylonian Talmud.
Much controversy exists around the name of Jesus.
Why is He hated so? You can find hate sites all over the Internet and books written to ridicule Christ and those who believe in Christ.
We cannot have public prayers anymore or public displays, honoring Him at Christmas without legal controversy. The fact though is that we would not have Christmas if not for the Christian celebration of His birth.
Let’s look at the man who created this controversy. He was a lowly carpenter’s son from Israel. He was Jewish and worshiped his Father in the temple and even spoke in the temple. He committed no violent or hate-filled crimes. He simply came to preach a message of hope and love and to die for all of mankind. His message has inspired billions through the ages.
I will continue my look at what Jesus stood for as I work through the A to Z April Blogging Challenge. This is my entry for “J.”
I also shared this post with Missional Women Faith Filled Friday, Christian Mommy Blogger, and Womanhood with Purpose.

It’s sad to see all the calls for “tolerance” as long as it’s not Christian.
I will keep my faith and love for Christ.
Thank you for sharing!
