Day 14 — Something difficult about your lot in life and what you are doing to overcome it.
It is another infusion day at the hospital. This is the most difficult thing right now. I have two more weeks to go. I am blessed though. Even in times like these God has a sneaky way of putting things into perspective. The infusions are done in this hospital’s cancer center so as I sit here getting iron someone beside me might be receiving chemo. When you think about it, I am blessed. Getting iron doesn’t make your hair fall out or make you feel nauseated. I am coping by focusing on my blessings. God is good and He has His reasons for everything.
This is me getting my iron today. They had to stick me in my hand. My veins in my arms are shot. They have been pled too much and don’t want to cooperate; so, trying to type on my Kindle is slow going.
The infusion will take two hours. :). I will spend the time doing the Thursday blog hops. Will just go to them and read other blogs and comment. I plan to add the buttons later. I will try to add my link but may not be able.
Will check back later. I took more pics of the pets yesterday but never got the time to load them. Will do later.

Hi Mary,
so sorry to read this. Hope you’ll get back in full shape really soon!
Warm hugs from Turin,
Alessandra
You poor thing! 2 Corinthians 12:9
New International Version (NIV)
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Sending a prayer your way!
Tina (thanks for showing my Picture Perfect button!)
(Oh, and my Make My Sat Sweet button!) 🙂
I don’t know what your condition is but I hope the infusion makes you feel better!
I wish you a full and speedy recovery, your spirits are great, my heart is with you 🙂
It certainly puts life into perspective. Good luck.
Yvonne.
You’re right, you’re blessed not to be getting chemo instead. Glad you can keep such a positive perspective.
Thanks. Just two more weeks. 🙂 I will be done with it. Can’t wait. Then I plan to exercise and get fit. 🙂
Whew, I backtracked your story and was relieved because I thought you had cancer, which in like one of the worst things.
But good for you for staying so positive, I hope you recover soon!
Sorry if I made you think that. I blessed. Just iron issues.
Sounds tough, Mary, but you are staying positive and that’s a good thing. Hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery!!
I’ll have to go back and read your story but I wish you a recovery from whatever it is.
((HUGS))
