1. Share one way you think the world has changed for the better since you were a kid?
Technology — the Internet, cable or satelite tv, laptop computers, portable tablets, wireless smart phones. It is amazing. I now have friends on every continent of the world, including my mates down under. 🙂
2. How ’bout one way it’s changed for the worse?
Technology — you have to be a super woman to take advantage of it all. Plus, you can get so caught up in it all that you never leave your house. Downside, everything is virtual. You forget about time zones, and there is also a lack of the personal contact : you know: face to face. You really have to be careful not to let it become an addition. (Hey, it is too late for me.)
3. Starlight, starfish, starling, Starbucks…your favorite ‘star’?
Starlings. I love taking pictures of birds and then going to Starbucks or my local coffee shop in the starlight and upload them. I don’t get to see to many starfish except on the Internet. (See number two about the personal contact.)
4. Name a song that’s overplayed, but you love it anyway?
5. When did you last have home made ice cream? In June at Grill Marks, a Greenville, SC burger joint on Main Street. There ice cream is homemade. You have to try their Dutch chocolate milkshake. (Awwww, yum.)
Your latest favorite flavor? Dutch chocolate, now.
6. What do you think is the best way to inspire or motivate people? Listen to their ideas or read what they have to say, find the most important or most exciting thing and praise them for it.
7. When was the last time you were without power? Last week when a storm hit in our county. We have without power about three times this summer for several hours each time.
8. Insert your own random thought here.Back to the over doing it again: this post is my second one today. If you missed my morning post here it is:
