Hi, I am going switch up this week to participate in another newly discovered blog hop: 5 on Friday. The goal of this weekly hop is to discuss five fun things happening in your life. The link button is below. Just click on it to go to where the action is and link up.

3. Hi, decided to hook back up again this week with Fun Friday. This hop is fun, quick and easy. Just be sure to follow the nice hosts. You will enjoy reading the other blogs because there are so many great ones from which to select.
4. We had a great Twitter party at #fmfparty tonight. Even got into a debate about Nutella before Lisa Jo unveiled this week’s word prompt: worship. So I am about to embark on my 5 minute writing on the subject worship. The rules are simple. Write for five minutes with no do overs or corrections. You are supposed to let the words flow. It is a hard task for perfectionists, but the whole idea is to write from the heart. After you finish your post go to Lisa Jo’s website (click on the icon above) and link up. A major rule is that you have to click on the people’s posts before and after yours and leave encouraging comments for them.

Worship is about finding truth and faith. Finding the truth about whom God is in your lives and having faith that His truth is the ideal for your life. Worship is finding love, contentment where you are at. Loving God in praise and worship. Worship is not a feeling; it is truth. When we worship, we celebrate truth about God’s and his sacrifice for all of us. We kneel at the cross that He carried in pain and anguish. In our kneeling, we recognize Him as Lord of Lords, God Almighty. Worship is adoring Him. We bring our alabaster boxes and we break them. We pour them out because even though the oinment is so expensive, His love and death for us is timeless. Worship Him. Praise Him. He is worthy of our love. He is our everything. Amen.
5. It is late. I have another post with a great party and huge giveaway that will go live in the morning.
6. I also have some other exciting news, my daughter and I are featured guest reviewers at The Mother Daughter & Son Book Reviews blog. I am so honored. It comes just in time too as I launch a special feature at Mary-andering Creatively: Mary-andering Among The Pages. This section will be devoted to book reviews and all my creative literary meanderings. Here are the permalinks to the guest posts:

Hi Mary,
Thanks for introducing yourself at my blog…Congrats to you and your daughter…how special 🙂
Stopping by from FMF. What a sacrifice it is to break our alabaster boxes, but it’s nothing compared to what Christ did on the Cross. I am constantly reminded the we cannot outgive God. He gave His only begotten Son. He is worthy of our worship.
Have a safe weekend,
Sophia

What great resources for your five on Friday. I loved the part about kneeling when you wrote on worship. That’s one of my favorite images of worship— kneeling before our King Jesus. Thank you for sharing. I’m stopping by from FMF.
