Start 11:30
I am lost in the pain this week. I want to blog more but my fingers will not cooperate. Maybe next week, I can let loose and blog everyday. It is depressing really, but I am just going to let go and believe despite my inability to blog daily, you, my reader, will understand. You will visit me when I can post.
I am lost without ideas and inability to concentrate. When you suffer from pain, it is hard to put your ideas together on screen. I can’t even plan some days; though, I try. I want to write about so much and accomplish so much, but I am lost in the pain.
What are you lost in today? What holds you back? How do you overcome when you seem so lost? For me it is prayer and belief that my God will take care of me despite my weakness and disability. It is my belief in the scripture: Philippians 2:13. God is working in me and through me to accomplish His good purpose for my life. I also cling to Romans 8:28. I know all things will work together for good for my life because I love Him and I am called according to His purpose.

Hi Mary,
It seems we have a lot in common. Our name. A love of photography. And daily pain in our lives. If you go back to some of my older posts, you will see my journey through pain during the past year. Very emotional pain of losing my mom and father-in-law two weeks apart. And very physical pain of two open rotator surgeries on my right shoulder…and I’m right handed.
I quit blogging in January of this year til April of this year so I could recover from the second surgery and not create any more pain than I already had to endure. Take guilt off the table and just rest. You don’t have to blog if it makes you feel worse. I just put up a notice (like you did) that I couldn’t blog for a while and my readers very graciously waited for my return.
Take care of yourself and rest. Read other’s posts and don’t worry about posting unless it helps you deal with the pain. God will walk you through.
Mary
PS…and I’m not pain free now either…migraines, carpal tunnel (24 hour splint for that) and possible hip surgery…and I’m under 50. God will get you through. 🙂
PS…I only blog 3 days a week. Don’t feel the pressure to blog everyday. 🙂
Mary, Thank you for joining the Celebrate Joy Link-up. Praying you have relief from pain very soon.
Hi Mary! How nice to see you again!
I’m so sorry you are experiencing so much discomfort…but it sure sounds like you know where your power is. In prayer and faith. That’s a lot. Blogging is a lot of hard work, and it’s challenging on a day that I ‘feel well’. But when I don’t, it’s like a mountain.
I pray your pain will ease, and you’ll get that peace you need to have clarity in your mind. I know God will hear your prayers, and mine too.
From Celebrate Joy Link-Up,

Mary, you are a blessing! When your heart is full and you want to write but can’t…speak the words in a tape recorder and write them as the pain eases some. I am praying for you sweet sister in Christ!
Cathy thanks for the great advice. Will try this. 😉
I hope your pain eases. I have watched my dad suffer from chronic pain due to his health condition and I know how truly debilitating it can be. I wish you well!
God is indeed working in you and through you. He is faithful to bring you through! I find myself lost in fear and self-doubt on a regular basis…. it is then that I realize how much better it is to be lost in HIM than in those lies!! God is good!
Be blessed- dropping by from FMF!
