I am so thrilled to announce that I am a guest poster at Meghan Weyerbacher Writes linkup this week. I hope you can visit and read my post entitled: Dear Writers: How Discipline Moves You Forward When Inspiration Goes On Vacation.
My guest post is a free verse narrative poem in ways. I explore how the Holy Spirit can influence your writing life. I love writing and feel joy when my words fly on the screen with ease which this post seemed to as the Holy Spirit inspired me to share with you where I find myself in my writing life.
I hope you find inspiration for your writing life today in the words that I share.
This writing life is hard work and it is easy to lose our way. We can find hope though in the Holy Word and through prayer. We also can find inspiration in community. That is what I love about so many of the linkups that I participate in.
Meghan gifted me with renewed energy to write over the past few months. She guest posted for the #LMMLinkup a few weeks ago where we learned about her Reading Journey and her blog, thebloggingwriter.com which is filled with inspiration on the things that mater most: Faith, Family, Writing & Adventures. She is the host of #TeaAndWord Tuesday over at her blog. You can follow her on her social media : Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
I caught this post over at Meghan’s place and have to tell you how happy I was to see you over there!

Mary you are so sweet to share about my course. Thank you! I am loving your post because it is so real for most of writers. We don’t always get to see the hard parts of a writer’s life, and we benefit from remembering the discipline it takes to get to the fruit bearing stage. And of course some of the fruit we may not see this side of Heaven but that is okay!
