Can You See the Amazing Things God Has Planned?

12:20
We can’t really see into our futures the way God can. He sees it all the past, present, and future. He sees the big picture.

It is amazing His plan for me.  I wish I could see it like He does, especially as I face a New Year.

I have these goals and resolutions. I prayed over them only briefly.  I don’t know if they are what He “sees” as my future path.
In Hebrews, we learn about faith and how it is all about the substance of what we hope for and the proof of what we do not see.  It is such a profound mystery this faith without seeing.  We know the air is there but we do not see it. We know God is at work in our lives but we do not see the how, the where, or the why. But we know through faith, He sees the whole amazing picture of our year to come.

Hi, Mary! Thank you for visiting Jerralea’s Journey and for taking the time to comment.

I enjoyed your post discussing how God sees things we can’t. He sees from the beginning to the end and also all the little ripples our actions make into the lives of others (and vice versa!) There is no way we can comprehend how each action affects our lives and the lives of others. I’m thankful I can trust Him for that!

I also like to think about faith being what we cannot see with our natural eyes but we can “see” with spiritual eyes. That which He has said will happen WILL happen whether we see it in the natural or not.
