Book Review By Mary Hill
I am so proud to enter the realm of book reviews.
This review is my second official book review. I was honored when author Julia Dweck approached me after I had got involved in the initial giveaway prize promotion of her latest book.
My Review:
Blucy is an original cat through and through; a beautiful cat with attitude. Blucy was first known as Lucy when she lived at the pound. One day a little girl named Mandy decided to take her home. Mandy loved her from the beginning although she noticed some major issues. The most serious is that when Lucy became upset or emotional she started to turn blue. Next, Lucy doesn’t want to eat cat food and even becomes a bit finicky and misbehaved. She rips up curtains and presents and paints on the walls. She runs away and will not come home. What is Mandy to do? First, she changes her name to Blucy and tries to find ways to accept and love her cat for who she really is. Read this delightful children’s book to discover more about the story of Mandy and Blucy. Will their friendship grow? Or will this end as a blue story?
