Blog Hopped Confused: Granting Two Wishes and Or Is What Questions Would I Wish if I Could

July 25, 2013 By Mary Hill 11 Comments

By Mary Hill

It has finally happened. I am lost in the blogoshere.  My brain is fried and my fingers hurt: Too many hops, Sensai. I found so many to do I don’t know which to do. I am in a blog hop tizzy. Why oh why did my blogging expert friends not warn me?

http://www.somethingclever2point0.com/p/theme-thursday.html

I need the theme over at Clever 2.0’s to come true. What would be my wishes if I found a Genie and became His master?

Hey, he could help me with the Two Questions Thursday hop. The questions are:

1) Does a Clean Car Determine How Clean You Are?
2) Does a messy car bother you?

Okay, so to kill both in a nutshell. My genie is my hubbie (remember I love doing the Number 8 with him? If you don’t remember, click here.   Just look down untill you see the No. 8).

My wish is his command. (Boy, I hope he doesn’t read this, and don’t tell him sister-in-law. I know you are lingering out there.) I don’t have a dirty car because of him; so, I can’t say that the cleaniness of my car is a reflection on how clean oh, I keep my house. (cough). Not at all. If it wasn’t for my lovely daughters, my house would be a mess because you know I am lost in blog hop land. I have to come up and breathe soon.

If I had a real Genie, I tell him to hop over to Katherine’s Corner Favorite Things.  I want the pretty decor items, the art, the food (minus the calories), and every prize featured on every participants’ blogs, and that is just for starters.

I will also need more hours in the day just to participate in this blog tour which I discovered on the ThumpingThursday Blog Hop:

History Lovers Grand Tour and Scavenger Hunt!

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Look at all these other blog hops to try. Time to find my home. Hope everyone finds a hop to try. Which hops do you like? Please post the links in your comments for the
up-to-date directory I am building.

Wow, this is a busy post! I can help you with another angle on one of your questions: people who keep their car cleaner tend to get more on resale than those who don’t. Leaving all that dirt and grit in and on the car is like leaving a thin coat of sandpaper on everything, it just wears the car out quicker, so even after you clean it everything looks a little more dingy and faded.

Mary, thanks for mentioning my blog hop in another post. We are up to 19 contributions of blog posts about the theme “Travel Down Memory Lane”. If anyone has a blog post to share that could fit that topic (old or new), the hop is open through July 31st.

Hi Mary, I’m visiting from BHB — Pheeww! My head is spinning just reading through this!I never have been on a blog hop and although it sounds fun it sounds way too time consuming for me. Sure is a fun way to meet fellow bloggers I presume… I may have to give it a try one of these days… ’till then I’ll stop for a visit here and them..

Blog Hopping can be a serious addiction. 🙂 Thankfully, I gave it up for Lent. 😀

Ok I’ve never been in a blog hop or a blog carnival, which I have also heard of. And truthfully, this has my head spinning so I’m likely not going to be in a hopper of any sort soon. Thanks for sharing the ups and running around.

Blogging hopping too much can be…whew, baffling and mind numbing sometimes. I found that I go with a few and expand only as time permits. The golden rule to live by here is, just have fun with it.

It was a pleasure to have you pop over to my place today & link up. I’m gonna design a blog hop button tomorrow for Thursday Tid-bits, which I hope to display next week. I thank you for including me in your post. That was so thoughtful & sweet.

Yes we all know what #8 is. Yes we do. I don’t have to go look. Bwahahahahahahaha.

I can relate to the blog hops. I’m almost as bad and it’s time consuming.

Have a terrific day and rest those fingers. ☺
