Believe in Your Potential in Christ

September 28, 2018 By Mary Hill 9 Comments

Rest in your potential in Him today. He wants to give you a bright future of hope and potential.

Ephesians 2:10 – For we are his workmanship,

created in Christ Jesus unto good works,

which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

It is hard to fathom. God created you and me and He loves us. He created us for His glory.  He planned our potential before the beginning of time.

I hope I have not disappointed Him. Do you battle with that fear too? If you do, I am here to tell you to let it go.

You see we have a promise from Him found in Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a]

and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Rest in your potential in Him today. He wants to give you a bright future of hope and potential.

Seated with Him in heavenly places, we shouldn’t forget.

Great encouragement for Monday morning Mary! I too easily forget my position in Christ Jesus. Thanks for this beautiful reminder from Scripture.

We kind of went in similar directions. Do we see the potential God gives each of us? I’m in the 43 spot this week.

    Mary,
Love this. I felt a similar way when I wrote today. We have so much potential – just need to trust and get closer to God first – then the sky is the limit!!
    Blessings

Love those key concepts – HIS workmanship, IN Christ, GOD ordained – and our part is to walk in them. Beautiful!

Jeremiah 29.11 is a perfect scripture for POTENTIAL!

Thanks for sharing this! I also wrote about the tension between the newness of potential and the uncertainty that brings. Nice to see that echoed here and with great encouragement at the end. Your FMF neighbor #22
