BRAVE
Break out with
Resolve and
Abandon to bring
Victory and Love to others through
Evangelism and telling the story of Christ’s love for them.
I live my life so safely.
When it comes to evangelism,
I can write but cannot speak.
I hide behind a screen.
I need to break out
With resolve and abandon.
To achieve victory.
To spread the word
To all on my sphere of influence.
That you can have everlasting life
Through Christ’s death on the Cross.
I need to be Brave.
This post is written for Holly Mueller’s Spiritual Journeys Thursdays. It took me a few days to find my direction and after several stops and starts, I wrote this poetic essay on the word: Brave. I am also rejoining the Slice of Life March Challenge.
