By Mary Hill

Two weeks of pain and illness are hopefully coming to an end.  I avoided a trip to the hospital is the silver lining in the last two weeks. My potassium levels dipped severely low and struggled to rebound, but they inched up so my doctor decided I could stay home. I go today for recheck.

Despite it all though, I know I am blessed. My family members are accounted for and healthy and well. My mother is improving in her back; my daughter seems to be happy. My fur babies are thriving.  I guess I better save this list for this weekend.

I hate being absent from my blog and from my creative endeavors, but sometimes it can’t be helped. Another silver lining, is that through this I may be able to find ways to cope without medicine which create terrible side effects and add to my problems.

I am going to start from scratch tomorrow and try to get back in sync.

Thanks for your support.

It is a blessing to be on the mend! I am learning that there is often a gift in the hand of adversity, too.
