The Season Waltzes to an End
Beautiful blazing leaves
Beauty of leaves and blazing fall colors dance in the streams of water.
5:35 p.m.
The leaves dance in the autumn breeze.
The wind is crisp with cool air.
Dancing into a new season with those I love.
From puppies to family members including a beautiful daughter who awes me with her smile.
Time dances away in the autumn days
As a new season soon waltzes in.
In the background, I hear my daughter singing a beautiful song and then laughing with her friend.
My littlest dog bonces on the backdoor.
My husband home from work retires to his room for a short nap.
I write as words dance across the screen.
Where will this new fall season take us? As songs sing and leaves dance on the wind.
I hope I can dance for my Lord and Savior more and more.
My dance and praise is for Him.
I watch the leaves glitter in the sunlight.
And then the sunset as darkness begins to descend.

When I lived in Cali (most my life), we didn’t have the changing seasons (Southern Cali) unless you drove to it… then moved to Va in 2000 and they had mountains, changing colors in the Shenandoah mountains, so beautiful.. then I had to leave in 2013 to move to Texas… it’s all flat, no mountains, dirty water… the beauty just isn’t here…… sooooo my point was… to say how beautiful these are.. love the leaves and changing of seasons. Just don’t like the cold… brrr
