| God’s beautiful miracles are everywhere. |
Jesus’s greatest miracle was His own resurrection from the dead. I didn’t always believe in that miracle. When I was six and my mom told me to bring the trash can back to the house, my response was anger and kicking it all over the yard.
My mom calmly told me, “You know Jesus saw you disobeying me. How do you think that made Him feel?”
My smart answer, “How can He see me? He is dead and is in the grave?”
My mom’s wonderful answer. “Let me tell you the rest of the story. Jesus didn’t stay in the grave. He rose again and is heaven with His father.”
She then lead me to the Lord in my living room. Sitting at the coffee table on my knees, I bowed my small head and asked Jesus to forgive me and to help me to become a good little girl and to come into my heart. To become my Savior. His miracle became so real to me. He was alive, and He was in my heart.
The miracles of Jesus did not start with His resurrection. He brought back people from the dead. He healed the sick. He made the lame to walk again. He healed the brokenhearted.
His miracles are alive today. He still heals. He still mends our hearts and spirits. He reaches out to all with love and grace.

It is so important for children to understand the love of God. What a great example your mother gave you all those years ago.
LOVE your M post!! M is definitely for miracle!
This story truly touched my heart, Mary… what a wonderful mother you had to teach and guide you in this manner… a child’s heart is so pure and open to God’s gift of love! What a precious story to keep and pass down to generations! I am a believer in miracles, all of those above, and all that have come thereafter and continue to appear in our lives. Jesus is my miracle, my healing, and my hope. Thank you so much for witnessing your faith at Two Shoes Tuesday, your words are blessing to all who come to read!
