Another Day for Connecting

Day 14, Tuesday: Ten things that make you really happy

1.  Praising and worshipping God.

2.  My wonderful husband who is a great father and loving papa.

 3.  My beautiful daughter.  She makes me happy and proud all most daily.  This picture is of her in our county’s Relay for Life Cancer Society Pageant.  She wanted to be in it in honor of both her grandparents (my husband’s parents) who died of cancer before she was born.

4.  My adorable pets who bring me love and joy.

Home Front by Kristin HannahFly Away by Kristin Hannah5. Reading books by some of my favorite authors like Kristin Hannah, author of Homefront, Winter Garden, and her latest, Fly Away.  Another favorite author is Alex Kava who wrote Black Friday, one of my all time favorite thrillers.

6.  Watching birds at my feeder outside.  It gives me joy that they love to come into our yard and visit with me.

7.  Listening to classic and modern rock and country music.

8.  Creating, writing and blogging.  I love to write poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.

9.  Visiting new and interesting places with my family.
10.  Writing about things that matter and make a difference: Nature, heritage, love, joy, helping others, and outreach.
