A WWW Wednesday Reading Update With a Tuesday Teaser bonus

November 6, 2013 By Mary Hill 5 Comments

By Mary Hill

I know I haven’t posted much this week. I am busy working on my Writing Nonfiction in November project.  Check out my status on Tuesday’s post at Mary-andering Creatively. I am playing catch up here so you will have an update on my readings in progress for the week. 🙂

• What are you currently reading?

• What did you recently finish

reading?

• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading? I have too many titles on my list; so, I will prioritize according to upcoming deadlines and my preferences.

This is a wonderful inspirational, historical romance novel.

A Tuesday Teaser bonus:

page 105:  “He shook his head as Victoria stepped down from the Ladue wagon, hair now drawn behind her in a braid.  The women who traveled this route were brave, strong and determined, or they often didn’t survive.”

What did I finish reading? I will be writing a review on this title asap.  I have a lot to share because Phyllis Reynolds Naylor is one of my all time favorite young adult authors. I also read this series while attending graduate school as part of a Young Adult Literature class.

What will I be reading next?   I have several tours coming up next week so here is my priority list because of book tour deadlines:
This is on my Kindle.  I will have a complete review with a great giveaway on my blog next Tuesday, November 12 so stay tuned.

This one is also on tap for November 20 as part of a book tour sponsored by the Mother Daughter Book Reviews.  I am close to wrapping it up so I need to pick up my reading speed to have it done on time.

I will post some book reviews this week so check back. Thanks.

Wow, I love finding fellow readers in my wandering! I bet that The Ghost Leopard would be right up my daughter’s alley; must make note of it 🙂

You have some great books here! I’d love to read ‘Now I’ll Tell You Everything’ (I’m adding to my TBR list) and ‘Keeping Faith’ looks good too.
