A to Z: L is for Light, Love, and a Special Lamb

April 15, 2014 By Mary Hill 1 Comment

By Mary Hill

The countryside was quiet, and the grave where they buried the last lamb God would ever need, empty. Light and loved had returned to the earth for a brief time to spend with His Disciples.

He had conquered death and beaten Satan once and for all. Mankind was redeemed. All that is required of sinners : believe and accept the sacrifice Jesus made for their sins. He was the last lamb slain. God would never again require a sacrifice of blood. Jesus had taken his own blood to the Holy altar and coated it.

His love beckons all. He is the Light, the Truth, and the Way. He welcomes all: Hindu, Buddhist, Jew, Muslim, and Gentile. He welcomes you just as you are. According to Romans 10:13, all you have to do is call on Him and you will be saved.

If you hear that call in your heart, please answer. He draws all nigh to Him. He loves you with a love that never dies. Ask Him tonight to show you the truth of His love for you.

Let me know if I can pray for you or loved ones. No matter the prayer request, I will pray for you.

This is my “L” installment for the A to Z blogging challenge.

Let’s pray for each other. Jesus was indeed the last lamb and we all should be grateful for his sacrifice.
