My Prayer: Lord I abound in you with Thanksgiving. You establish me in faith and teach my your ways, daily. I want to walk closer with You Lord in all that I do.
Walking and Praying With Jesus, A To Z
Colossians 2:6-7
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him, (7) rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
A is for “Abound.”
My Story: I have walked away from the Lord in stubbornness, seeking my own answers and way. I turned my back on Him and His sacrifice on the Cross many times.
I married the wrong men. I stopped reading my Bible. I dabbled in New Ageism reading the wrong books.
I went down roads, He never intended for me to travel. I lost my gratitude for His sacrifice and love.
Somehow, His spirit found me and guided me back to His original atonement. I stood at the foot of His cross with tears flowing and aching for Him in my heart and soul.
He took me back with open arms of Love, guiding me back into the fold.
What does it mean to “abound.” According to Definitions.net abound means: To be full to overflowing. So when I apply the above scripture to my life it means I should walk with Him with gratitude that overflows.
I hope love and happiness abounds in you today.
As, I launch my A to Z Blogging Challenge series, I have a loose theme of walking and praying with Jesus. I may tighten up this theme as I continue the series. I have no outline; no theme; and no real direction.
I want to abound in Him and His love today. He is my truth and life.
I also seek to influence others to accept Him into their lives. I pray for my readers that no matter their faith that they will open their hearts and minds to the possibility that Jesus did walk this earth and that He died for their sins and restoration.

An interesting way to look at life and I believe every route leads to goodness and love.
I think no matter what one believes, finding ways to be grateful can make a profound and positive difference in one’s life. I’m glad you’ve found peace from this notion. Happy writing!
This is suffices everything what modern day & young girls and boys need to know. Losing path is easy but following what our faith & Lord Jesus shows may not be as we want but it is certainly the best one of all.
All of us have our own ways of seeking love and learning.. and we learn after we fall..
Wonderful post 🙂
Cheers
Great start. In faith, all our dreams come true and in God we trust.
A lovely post Mary! In God we Trust! And in His Love we Thrive.

Wow Mary very nicely written.
Mary, I love this!I want Christ to abound in me, too, and share his love with others. I’m still kind of undecided about how to go forward on this A to Z challenge. I started with the idea of finding unusual animals, but I may have trouble finding pictures to go with them, so I may just do a variety of topics.
