It was a great weekend of family time as we took Saturday afternoon to celebrate my oldest daughter’s 22 birthday. We went out to eat and then explored our upstate attractions.
We went to a golfing range and then a special farm in Greenwood, SC called Emerald Farm. Below are the pictures from the day which gave me lots to be thankful for: family time, fun in the sun, and beautiful creatures that I got to meet up close.

I also completed my first week of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. I am behind at Mary-andering Among the Pages because I have not felt well and battled more health issues. Tomorrow (Monday) I go for more tests to see if my heart was damaged when my potassium dropped so low.
I am pleased with my progress though and had six great posts. I hope you can take time to read them if you haven’t done so already:

Now I turn my attention to the next six installments. I am praying for direction.

I hope you all have a good week and God bless. God is good and will see me through all my trials and He brings immeasurable blessings.

Beautiful photos! I would love to go to a golf range soon!
Sounds like a wonderful day! =)
Your photos are lovely!
Congratulations on finishing the first week of the challenge. I did the A-Z last year, and boy, it was a difficult challenge. I’m glad I did it and continued through to the end. This year, I was on vacation for the first week, so chose to skip it this year. Keep plugging along at it. You’ll be glad you did. I met so many wonderful people through it last year.
It looks like a glorious day with your family. I love those kinds of days.
I’m so jealous that you got so close to the peacock. I’m glad you got to have fun with family Mary and your oldest daughter looks beautiful and strong. Sorry about your heath issues but you have been so strong through out and I wish you many blessings. A-Z has been a good experience this year despite all the work for these 26 posts.
Peacocks are lovely, but so NOISY, and with such an unexpected sound…
